The numbers of LNG are made of lines, that come from outside the display and leave it when the job is done. Whenever necessary, these lines sharply bend about 45° to form a more or less abstract number. The abstraction gives the whole display a cryptic sci-fi look. It takes a bit to get used to the numbers, but that's the deal ;)
