The exchange rate for the displayed currency pair is updated on demand (watchapp) or every three minutes, and the currencies change every five seconds (watchface). The apps turns to a lower activity mode between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. This means that the exchange rates are updated once every hour, and the displayed currency pair changes every minute.
