Interval running is a series of low- to high-intensity exercise workouts interspersed with rest or relief periods. For example you could start with 5 seconds run then do 5 seconds walk, then you take 10 seconds to run and 10 seconds to walk. When you reach one minute counting turns back till 5 seconds.
