# Starspeeder — Patch Notes ## v1.0.0 — initial release - A Star Tours shuttle on your wrist, beneath the time, date, and weather. - **Two backgrounds:** a procedurally drawn near-black **starfield** (mixed 1px/2px stars with brighter twinkles), or a procedurally drawn **hangar deck** where the shuttle rests landed on its skids. - **Two shuttles:** the rust-red-and-white **Starspeeder 1000** (default) and the white-and-blue **Starspeeder 3000** — both face left. - **Wrist-flick animations** (space background only): flick your wrist for a ~5-second burst of **Normal travel** (starfield drift) or **Hyperspace** (streaking star lines), or set it to **Off**. No idle animation, so battery cost stays low. - **Live weather** (high/low) via OpenWeatherMap with °C/°F selection and a bespoke condition icon set (sun, partly cloudy, clouds, rain, thunder, snow, fog, and a crescent moon on clear nights). - Weather is **off by default** — no account needed for a clean face. Paste a **free** OpenWeatherMap key in Settings and flip **Show weather** on. - **Show/hide** the time or date independently; hidden elements don't reflow the layout. - Settings: 12/24-hour clock, six date formats, show time, show date, ship, background, wrist-flick animation, temperature unit, show weather, API key. - Supports Pebble Time 2 (Emery) and Pebble Round 2 (Gabbro).
