Description

A highly configurable watchface showing Shaot Zemaniot, an ancient Jewish form of timekeeping.

Alongside the ordinary civil time, this watchface divides the daytime (sunrise to sunset, or sunset to sunrise at night) into 12 equal "proportional hours," each subdivided into 1080 parts. Like daylight itself, these hours are longer in summer and shorter in winter.

A part lasts only a few seconds, so this face is best with "Update every second" turned on. That costs battery life, which is why most watchfaces discourage it. To save power, you can limit it to chosen hours of the day.

Four configurable regions can show the civil and/or Hebrew date, upcoming sunrise and sunset, current or forecast weather, and Pebble Health data. An (accelerometer) tap swaps some of these, such as current weather for the forecast. Low-battery and Bluetooth-disconnection icons and alerts are included.
