Code optimizations
For best results BOUNCING mode auto-switches other settings to: Pattern DOTS Visibility TRANSLUCENT Illumination DIFFUSE FLOATING mode has averaged sensor read-out for smother movements No user interaction (no button pressed) auto-exit reduced to 120secs.
- oscillator wave speed doubled - inertia of BOUNCING mode halved (reacts quicker to your movements) - time-out before auto-exit doubled to 180 sec (more time needed to "play" in BOUNCING mode)
To prevent battery drain (if app forgotten running or launched by baby hands), after 90 seconds of no user interaction (no button pressed) the app will auto-exit. Please let me know if you find this length to be too short/long.
B&W models (Pebble classic, Pebble steel & Pebble 2) auto-invert colors for PATTERN_DOTS & ILLUMINATION_SPOTLIGHT
Detail modes added (Coarse/Fine) Coarse: shadow and color change frontiers snap to the nearest control point in the active pattern grid. No anti-aliasing is applied. Fine: shadow and color change frontiers are approximated to no more than 3 pixel error. Anti-aliasing is applied.
Colorizations simplified: SIGNAL discarded, MONOCHROMATIC & DISTANCE retained. Illuminations simplified: 3 SPOTLIGHTS discarded (CPU cannot cope with so many calculations) SHADOW renamed to (single) SPOTLIGHT.
New "Spotlights" illumination (2x long UP button press) Warning: Warning: extremely computationally intensive so animation frame rate is expected to slow down immensely.
