Changelog

Version 1.3.02026-10-06T07:30:06.546

- Make the beeps quieter and add volume levels: Settings → Sound now cycles Off, Low, Medium and High. Medium, the new default, is a third of the previous level, and High is still quieter than before. The alarm uses the same level. Existing On/Off choices are kept.

Version 1.2.02026-10-06T06:00:47.101

- Add Settings → Theme with **Ivory**: the companion watchface's LCD colors (#FFFFAA background, #550000 ink, scenery tinted toward #AA5500). Classic stays the default, and the choice is kept across restarts.

Version 1.1.02026-10-06T03:28:29.413

- Add **Sprint** and **Daily**: 60 seconds of Game B rules. Sprint is random; Daily gives everyone the same round on a date. Pausing and MISS recovery do not use the clock, and the watch beeps and pulses at 10 seconds left.
- Add LCD-style beeps (Settings → Sound, default On) for catches, drops, bonuses, game over, new bests and the alarm. Sound follows the watch's speaker mute and Quiet Time.
- Add Menu → Stats: games, catches, drops, Brutus hits, bonuses, longest catch run and play time, with a separate reset.
- Keep Sprint, Daily and today's Daily bests on a second High scores page.
- On the clock, hold Select to preview Game A's best score, keep holding for Game B's, and release to start the mode shown.
- Show both best scores, today's Daily score and the alarm time in the launcher (App Glance).
- Return to the clock after five minutes on the game-over screen.
- Extend on-watch Help with pages for Daily and Sprint, Online and a Quick Launch tip (Settings → Quick Launch on the watch).
- Add an optional **Online** setting (off by default) that sends your best Daily round through your phone to a leaderboard that replays your inputs to check the score. The leaderboard server is not live yet.
- Keep existing settings, alarms and scores when upgrading.

Version 1.0.22026-10-06T01:07:09.293

- Keep the clock and score digits at their original proportions in Horizontal mode, with more space around the display edges.
- Align the faint digit and MISS outlines with the updated layout for both Top and Bottom button positions.
- Preserve the Vertical layout and existing gameplay, settings, alarms and high scores.

Version 1.0.12026-10-05T11:57:17.097

- Put Orientation first in Settings, with explicit Vertical and Horizontal choices.
- Show a separate Buttons: Bottom / Top setting only in Horizontal mode.
- Remember the horizontal button position when switching to Vertical and back, including after reopening the app.
- Preserve existing Top/Bottom selections, alarms and scores when upgrading; default the first Horizontal selection to Bottom.
- Add a short screen-setup page to on-watch Help.

Version 1.0.02026-10-05T10:58:46.664

A whole childhood on one small screen. The first release of Popeye G&W brings
Olive Oyl, Popeye and Brutus to Pebble Time 2 in a vivid LCD-style harbour.

- Play Game A or B, catch food, dodge Brutus and keep a separate best score for each mode.
- Enjoy an animated clock and a daily alarm that can wake the app while it is closed.
- Play upright or sideways, with landscape buttons below or above the screen; Bottom is the first landscape choice.
- Use large menus and three short Help screens. Adjust swapped controls, vibration, ghost segments and the clock demonstration.
- Keep scores and settings across app updates. Vibration respects Quiet Time.

An unofficial adaptation of the 1981 Popeye Wide Screen PP-23 for Pebble Time 2
(Emery). Original handheld timing is not reproduced exactly. No phone connection
is needed during play.
