Changelog

Version 1.5.02026-08-10T20:36:59.292

Fixes a turn that could go unannounced when driving slowly. The buzz is now
guaranteed within 30 m of the turn however slow you are going, which a sweep of
the whole speed range showed was missing below about 5 mph.

The time and distance to the destination is bigger, and now changes with the
Text size setting.

Reopening the app mid-route picks up the current turn instead of sitting on
"waiting for directions", and the app closes itself a few minutes after you
arrive.

Version 1.3.02026-08-08T03:44:20

The card's text is bigger. The street and distance now draw a size up by
default, and there is a new Text size setting with Small, Normal and Large if
you want to change it.

Version 1.2.02026-08-07T23:13:59

The buzz now tells you which way to turn: a left ends on a long pulse, a right
opens with one, so you can take the turn without looking down.

Rerouting has its own double-thump, so it can never be mistaken for a turn.

The watch speaks seven languages, picked up from your watch's own setting:
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.

The backlight can stay lit through the turn instead of a brief flash. Opening
settings mid-route no longer throws you back out. And there is a new opt-in
setting that holds other apps' notifications while you are driving, so a text
does not bury the directions.

Version 1.1.02026-08-07T20:23:44

Turn direction is now in the buzz itself. A left ends on a long pulse, a right
opens with one, so you can take the turn without looking at your wrist.

Arrivals say which side of the street the destination is on, with an arrow
under the chequered flag, and they get the same countdown a turn does.

New: a REROUTING screen, so a stale arrow is never mistaken for a live one.
The launcher now shows your arrival time. Auto-open can be switched off if you
would rather open the app yourself.

Version 1.0.02026-08-06T21:36:33

Start navigating in Google Maps and the next maneuver appears on your Pebble: the
arrow, the distance, the street name, and how much of the trip is left. Your wrist
buzzes when a turn is coming up, and again when you are on top of it, so you can leave
your phone in your pocket.

- 17 maneuvers, each with its own arrow: turns, slight and sharp turns, U-turns,
merges, ramps, and roundabouts that know which way they go round
- Time and distance to the destination, and your arrival time
- Two-stage haptics, with how early the first one comes up to you
- Three icon styles and six colour themes, including one you set yourself
- A rotating globe on the idle screen, with real continents on it
