Quick View keeps the digital time. When a timeline banner appears, the hands retract and the info slots slide away, so the time can rise above the banner. Both come back when the banner leaves. Saves battery behind the banner. While the banner is up, the face doesn't tick every second, run the minute sweep or react to wrist flicks.
