We spend energy and a lot of time to optimize something that was near to be excellent. So we are proud to present a new generation of InfoWatch that…

* ... runs on (the old) pebble as well as the new pebble time.
* ... supports (only on pebble time) up to 10 color look and feels!
* ... has in addition a much better gesture recognition algorithm. In particular a new y-axis twitch was added to change "fixed" panels. This enables you to increase news texts, stock lists or to have a glance to the sunrise info etc., event through per default another FixedPanel is configured in the settings.
* ... provides in the settings now a choice of up to 40+ preconfigured feeds.
* ... supports (only on pebble time) up to 24 feed entries in up to 3 configured feeds.
* ... has a new Romanian language resource file.
* ... caches weather, and stock data etc. twice the time you configured your reload time.
* ... (hopefully) fixes the still remaining seldom crashes.
* ... has a lot of (layout) improvements.

Known problem:

* Some special chars are not shown in the feeds. For example the words with accent and the spanish letter "ñ", doesn't show correctly. I use the pebble system fonts to show news texts. Due to this you have to use pebblebits to generate a system font set also covering your local chars.
* Sometimes the settings dialog will not open and instead an endlessly animated gif cycle is shown. This is a pebble app "bug"/ problem. A simple solution is to retry after you opened another setting dialog. Sorry I've no influence on this and can't fix anything. In case you know how please tell me. :)

New features:

Selected configuration settings are now persistent. Means in case InfoWatch or SlideDeck has to restart the look and feel of the app didn't get lost.
Selected data gathered from the internet is cached. Means in case InfoWatch or SlideDeck has to restart weather information, stock remains available (for a reload period) and mustn't be reloaded (from the internet). Let's name it a fast load operation. ;)
Optimizations:

Finalization and use of a new own pebble (GUI) lib was the main topic of this release. Nearly all functionality is now provided by a lib. Two positive consequences: Stability, memory reduction and the opportunity for rapid new app development. ;)

* Implemented a more generic RSS/ ATOM feed parser. A couple of feeds throwing an error in older InfoWatch versions will work now. 
* Up to 3 days of forecast. A new setting determines if either 1, 2 or 3 days are displayed in the forecast InfoPanel. One day of forecast looks nice,, three days give more information. It's up to you what you want to see. ;)
* New Setting to start week on Sunday instead of Monday.

Optimizations:

* A lot of code cleanups, further reduction of memory consumption and first usage of a new GUI lib.
* Optimized build process and usage of code generation feasibilities.
* Compiled with the new SDK 2.5

A new week a new InfoWatch alias V3.4 is out!. Why in such rapid succession? I've had a little time to wast ;) or much better to do a full code review and to fix a lot of bugs that lurked under the surface until now.

New Features:

* Weather forecast data is cached.
* The expression "KW" (for calendar week) is now more international. :) In case you have better translations send it to me!

Optimizations:

* Fully reimplemented the load data algorithm.
* Outsourced further string tokens into resource files - due to this no further memory is necessary in case new translations were added. In case your translation is still missing/ or incorrect, provide the translation to me - (for a small donation) I will add/ correct it.
* Again further memory improvements to get more free space for new functionality.
* A few layout improvements.

Bugfixes:

* Hopefully I fixed now the "Fix weather forecast got lost" bug.
* Now further special chars will be handled which are not part of the iPhone charset.
* A lot of small fixes not worth to get mentioned in detail. Be happy that they are now gone. ;)
