Description

Hourglass turns your watch into a minimal, animated hourglass. No numbers, no hands—just color and sand.

The frame color represents the hour on a 12-color cycle. Sand moves from the upper chamber to the lower chamber each minute, with its area proportional to elapsed time. Half the sand remaining means 30 minutes past the hour; one quarter remaining means 45 minutes past. A white line in the top or bottom cap indicates AM or PM.
At the start of each hour, the hourglass flips and begins again.

Make it your own:
- Two hourglass shapes: classic sloped sides or a wider, rounded design.
- Three sand styles: plain white, scattered gray grains, or subtle grains near the surface.
- Smooth, reduced-frequency, or static falling-grain animation.
- Optional tilt response that shifts the sand surface as you move your wrist.
- Optional battery indicator with white cells, red for low battery, and green while charging.
Tilt response is off by default. Enabling it or choosing smoother animation may increase battery use.
