Description

The Game of Life, also known as Conway's Game of Life or simply Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970.

Visit goledit.xyz to make your own unique Personal Pattern that evolve following the rules of Game of Life on your watchface. Experiment with different patterns and discover amazing new evolving patterns in the cellular automaton. There are Pattern Presets like Gospers Gliding Gun to work from but its entirely up to you to find and create interesting patterns and discover what they "do" in the cellular automaton or Game of Life. You can also use the random world if you don't want to use a Pattern ID. Which it also interesting as new random worlds and their final result will vary wildly.

This watchface has the following features;
* Make your own unique Personal Pattern that evolve following the rules of Game of Life on your watchface
* Turn on reset of world after N generations (resets to your Personal Pattern if you have one or else a new random world will be generated.)
* World is persisted so if you change watchfaces/app your world won't loose its state
* Adjust random world percentage density
* Adjust generations to iterate on every minute (each minute this number of frames will be drawn.)
* Adjust frame pacing (how much time pases between each frame.)
* Show current generation number
* Show date and week day
* Time as Game of Life pattern
* Apply magnification
* Vibrate every half hour or hourly (one short pulse at half hour, two short pulses
hourly.)

It's all open source! If you have any ideas you're welcome to contribute! Either with code or just ideas! ;)
