I wanted to be able to see recent photos of family members as a watchface without having to maintain albums.

Immich is a locally hosted photo management solution, and I love how hands-off it is compared to Google Photos on my Pixel watch. I implemented a feature that I think provides better face cropping than Pixel Screensaver too: Sometimes Pixel selects a group selfie I've taken... but only shows my face. This watchface almost always shows a photo with better composition, while maintaining legibility. Hope you enjoy this as much as I have!
