Changelog

Version 1.5.02026-10-11T12:54:15.254

# CINÉ 1.5.0

Put the posters in your own order.

- Add Your order as the first poster-order option. Posters follow the sequence you select, with numbered badges and Move earlier / Move later controls. Automatic rotation, Next poster wrist flicks and Save & preview use that sequence.
- Preserve the sequence when reopening settings or restarting the watch. Deselecting removes a film; selecting it again appends it last. Customized Whole collection appends new films at the end.
- Add Select all current posters, which preserves your sequence and appends missing current films. It selects today’s catalog explicitly, leaving future additions unselected.
- Add Deselect all to start a new sequence. An empty editing draft disables Save and Save & preview until you select a poster. Your watch keeps its last saved choices while you edit.

Your order is the default for new users. Existing Collection order and Shuffled choices, favorites, rotation intervals, fixed poster and display preferences are preserved. Whole collection remains the option that includes future additions automatically.

All eleven posters, including Ran, remain available. Analog hands, daily rotation and Next poster on a wrist flick remain the fresh-install defaults. Poster order stays available with rotation Off so wrist flicks can follow Your order.

Version 1.4.02026-10-11T11:44:22.418

# CINÉ 1.4.0

Ran joins the cinema on your wrist.

- Add Akira Kurosawa’s Ran (1985) as the eleventh full-screen poster, appended to Cinema After Dark.
- Keep your existing poster selections, favorites, rotation intervals, hand colors and display settings. Whole collection includes Ran automatically; custom favorites keep their existing selection until you choose it.
- Add a Hands-only Ran view to the store gallery, with Ivory hands and a ruby cap.

Analog hands, daily rotation and Next poster on a wrist flick remain the fresh-install defaults. Digital and Hands + small digital, three typography styles, optional date/battery, markers and Film details remain available.

Ran preserves its face and printed title. Safe placement may hide a digital date or complication when no clear space fits; Quick View has less room. Light and Off digital backgrounds can reduce readability.

More movie posters are coming soon.

Version 1.3.12026-10-11T09:08:14.472

# CINÉ 1.3.1

Ten films, three digital styles, and more readable everyday details.

- Add Blade Runner, Chungking Express, Seven Samurai, The Red Shoes, Rear Window and Nosferatu to the original four posters. Choose favourites from thumbnails, select whole collections, and preview your selection.
- Keep analog hands, switch to Digital, or choose Hands + small digital. Deco, Couture and Maison each offer their own typography and optional short or long date. Time follows your selected hand finish. Choose Off, Light or Standard for the digital background.
- Show date and battery together in Hands mode, with Small, Medium or Large text. On artwork (no strip) places them separately while protecting faces and titles. Safe placement remains the default; an optional bottom information strip is also available.
- Choose battery percentage at every level or only at 20% and below, including while charging. A phone-disconnect icon and short buzz remain optional.
- Fresh installs rotate daily and use a wrist flick for Next poster. Switch flicks off or choose Film details, with a second flick for more about the film. The brief Now Showing title card is optional and starts off.

Analog hands with the Ivory preset and ruby cap remain the fresh-install appearance.
Hour markers and display extras start off. Existing saved choices are preserved.
More movie posters are coming soon.

Safe placement can hide an enabled complication when there is no clear space.
On artwork keeps date and battery visible on all ten posters in full view at all
three sizes; hands may pass over them. Quick View has less room and can still
hide an item. Light and Off digital backgrounds can reduce text contrast.

This candidate supersedes the unpublished v1.2.0, v1.2.1 and v1.3.0 candidates. Their
frozen files remain unchanged. Watchface behavior is unchanged from v1.3.0;
this revision updates the ten-poster store gallery and description.

Version 1.1.02026-10-09T11:05:26.217

# CINÉ 1.1.0

Choose how often the cinema on your wrist changes. Clay settings now offer
rotation every 15 or 30 minutes, every 1, 3 or 6 hours, daily, or weekly.
Turn rotation off to keep one favorite movie on screen.

Use collection order or a saved shuffled order, with every poster appearing
once before the sequence repeats. A temporary preview shows each film for
five seconds, then returns to your chosen rotation. Weekly remains the default.
Changes follow local clock boundaries, and preferences survive restarts.

The four-film collection, hand finishes, optional hour markers, wrist-tap
readout and Timeline Quick View remain available. More movie posters are
coming soon.

Version 1.0.12026-10-09T10:28:31.693

# CINÉ 1.0.1

CINÉ’s first-release candidate now starts with the look shown in the store images:
ivory hour and minute hands, black outlines and a ruby center cap. The phone’s
settings page also starts with Ivory selected. Existing saved choices are preserved.

Four films rotate weekly on Pebble Time 2: Metropolis, Vertigo, In the Mood for
Love and North by Northwest. Artwork stays on the watch for offline use. Tap
your wrist for digital time and film details, choose hand finishes in phone
settings, or enable optional hour markers. Timeline Quick View is supported.

Poster artwork by Edward Wijaya, used with permission. More movies are planned
for future updates. This candidate replaces the unpublished 1.0.0 candidate.
