Watchface displays date, time and 2 bouncy status rings. One is coloured according to the bluetooth phone connection status - blue if connected, grey if not. The other indicates the battery status: it  shrinks and changes colour as the battery drains.

Only one ring is affected by gravity at any one time, this switches between rings when they collide. 

Displays time with a 12x14 wrap-around Conway's Game of Life (B36/S23) in background. Starts with a randomly placed "glider". A new glider is added if you shake the watch, or if all cells die out. Cells are colour-coded according to their longevity.

The phone bluetooth connection is monitored every 10 seconds. If connection is lost the time will display pink and the watch emits one short vibration. When connection is restored, the time will be displayed in white and the watch will emit two short vibrations.
