Based on Wim Crouwell's 1967 typeface 'New Alphabet.'  Typeface used is a freeware approximation of Mr. Crouwell's original work.  Date uses a standard sans-serif for easier legibility.

Bomb-like.  Probably not the best watchface to wear while boarding an airplane.

No nonsense, no distractions.  U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal insignia, day of the week and time to the second.  I am not, nor have I ever been affiliated with EOD, this is a hat tip to the extremely dangerous work they do.
