The minutes are in a white space that crawls around the screen filling and draining squares like sand in an hourglass. The minutes appear in about the position of the minute hand on a clock. The hour digit moves out of the way while the minutes crawl around the screen. The screen updates every three seconds. Sometimes I find it relaxing just to watch it tick.
