The original iPhone app had no purpose except for showing people how rich you were to be able to spend US $999 on absolutely nothing. 

You can now experience the original app in all its glory without paying a single cent. Simply press the select button to bring up the original message that appeared in the app and press the same button again to dismiss the message.

Furthermore, the app is now on your Pebble making it even easier to show off your supposed wealth to others.
